Hahnemühle Bamboo Printed Paper :// A more Sustainable Option.
Choosing a local, bespoke UK printer and the most sustainable paper option for my artwork was incredibly important to me. Hahnemühle’s natural range of paper is vegan, acid free and resistant to ageing. The Bamboo paper has a natural, warm white tone quality and is a wonderful media that can produce impressively bright colours and deep blacks without optical brighteners. The mixed media paper is made from 90% bamboo fibres and 10% cotton rag. The plants that provide the cellulose grows at a rapid rate requires minimal maintenance without the use of pesticides. Their rapid growth means that more cellulose can be produced on the same cropland compared to other raw materials, and they also require much less water, helping to save valuable resources and protect the environment.
